     Whether you are looking for a day of King Salmon guided fishing or a multi-species fishing vacation package complete with lodging, let my thirty years of experience fishing the Kenai River and its surrounding waters (over 15 as a full-time professional guide) be your guarantee to a memorable Alaskan fishing experience.

     Besides trophy King and Silver Salmon fishing which I personally provide, there are many other angling opportunities available in our packages. Halibut fishing out of Homer or Ninilchik; Upper Kenai River float fishing for Red Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden; Kasilof River drift boat fishing for King Salmon or a fly-out fishing adventure are all available options.

     At Sourdough Charters it is my goal to provide you with the very best in guided sport fishing. Experienced local guides and the finest in equipment are hallmarks of the exceptional professional and personal services that I provide.

     A 50% deposit is required to confirm all reservations with the balance due upon arrival. Deposits will be refundable up to 45 days prior to your arrival date. In order to secure optimum fishing dates, advanced reservations are recommended.

The Kenai River is home to the undisputed heavy weight of Salmon - the magnificent Kenai River King. In mid May these tackle busting giants begin entering the Kenai River where you can fish for them from our clean and comfortable 20 foot river boats. These fish average 30 - 50 lbs. but many are taken each season in the 60, 70, and 80 lb. class. During much of the King Salmon season, Red Salmon also abound and may be easily taken from the shore.
